Adidas is delving into the obscure lines between the past and present with their new collaboration with visual artist Daniel Arsham.

Arsham's work explores archaeological themes examining the impact humans have on materials and their environments and the kinds of imprints we leave on the world in our everyday lives. This new sneaker takes those themes and applies them to a classic trainer, the New York, utilizing premium core white denim with distressed detailing and a lush leather lining.

The retro webbed sole calls back to the origins of the sneaker craze and the overall vintage feel has this new kick showing an attention to detail that has defined recent Adidas collaborations. The crowning design element are the words "The Past Is Present" emblazoned on the sides of the sole, only visible under UV light.

Released in limited quantities this is a true collectors item.
